Instructor-led Training (ILT)
ILT consists of an instructor (or “facilitator”) leading a group of learners through training content in a classroom or designated training space, typically at your facility. At Vittorio Consulting, we often use the term workshop interchangeably with ILT. We believe employees learn best when they play an active role in their learning and, as a result, the ILT we help you develop will incorporate a combination of activities that engage learners and help them apply the learning to real-life situations. These activities can include group discussions and exercises, case studies, role-playing, scenario-based exercises, best practice sharing and even brief videos relevant to training content.
Because the nature of ILT allows for collaboration and open dialog, it is best used in contexts where person-to-person interaction is necessary for learning, for example:

- when training content is best learned with heavy discussion.
- when employees need an opportunity to practice and receive feedback on the new skill.
